Show / Music | A singing duel to the last note. At the end of the 76th edition of the Sanremo Festival, Sal Da Vinci claimed first place with the song “Per sempre sì”, closely followed in second place by the young Genoese artist Sayf with “Tu mi piaci tanto”. On the third step of the podium was Ditonellapiaga with “Che fastidio!”.

Sal Da Vinci’s victory was decided by a combination of votes from the public and the two press rooms, with a very narrow margin over Sayf. The Neapolitan neomelodic singer received 22.2% of the votes, just above the 21.9% of the Genoese contestant, while Ditonellapiaga scored 20.6%. The televote, however, had favoured Sayf with 26.4% of the votes, leaving Sal Da Vinci at 23.6% and Ditonellapiaga at 18.9%. The difference therefore mainly emerged from the evaluations of the two press rooms. Arisa with “Magica favola” and the duo Fedez-Masini with “Male necessario” were left out of the final five on the podium; the complete ranking of the 30 competing artists, photos of the festival and statements from the winners can be found on SanremoNews.it:  Sal Da Vinci trionfa al 76° Festival di Sanremo con “Per sempre sì” and 76° Festival di Sanremo, il vincitore Sal Da Vinci and the main figures on the “podium”.

In addition to the final rankings, several special awards were presented. The Mia Martini Critics’ Award was given to Fulminacci for “Stupida sfortuna”, with Ermal Meta and Levante taking second and third place respectively. Serena Brancale received the Lucio Dalla Press Room Award for the song “Qui con me”. The Sergio Bardotti Award for Best Lyrics went to Fedez and Masini for “Il Male Necessario”, while the Giancarlo Bigazzi Award for Best Musical Composition was awarded to Ditonellapiaga for “Che fastidio!”. Serena Brancale also won the Tim Award with the same song.

These results confirm an edition marked by a tight competition, open until the very end, and a variety of styles and musical genres present on the Sanremo and Ariston stage. There was a decline in television ratings compared to last year but, as Carlo Conti said when he symbolically passed the baton of hosting and artistic direction of the Sanremo Festival 2027 to Stefano De Martino last night, “I leave a festival in excellent health.”
