Liguria, tourism and disability: funding for projects aimed at accessible tourism

The Regional Giunta has approved a resolution for accessible tourism projects funded by a government initiative. Ligurian municipalities, in partnership with third-sector entities, can apply for up to 1.9 million euros to enhance inclusive tourism for people with disabilities. Projects must focus on improving accessibility in tourism services and offering internships for employment inclusion. Up to four projects will be selected, each receiving up to 430,000 euros, with a completion deadline of 24 months.
