In the Cinque Terre, the Nativity scene in Manarola lights up

This year, the Manarola Nativity Scene was celebrated again in Cinque Terre National Park. Created in 1961 by Mario Andreoli, the tradition continues through the Manarola Nativity Scene Association. Environmental and Land Protection Assessor Giacomo Raul Giampedrone praised the installation as a Ligurian symbol during Christmas, featuring over 200 illuminated figures on a sea-facing hillside. He acknowledged Andreoli’s legacy and thanked the Alpine Rescue for adding a new figure symbolising their dedication.
