In Alassio, a three-day convention focused on the future of tourism will take place. From tomorrow to Sunday, the city will host the fifth edition of the “Cdo Tourism Convention” at the Allegro Italia Alassio Rosa hotel, starting at 2 PM.
The Friday afternoon program, beginning at 2 PM, will feature discussions with tourism and marketing experts from the region and tours of certified establishments like the Grand Hotel of Alassio and Villa della Pergola in Alassio, known for their quality offerings and services.
On Saturday, November 23, at 10 a.m., an engaging workday is scheduled at the Alassio Library, focusing on “Artificial Intelligence in Tourism” with Edoardo Colombo and Vinicio Borsi. At 2 p.m., there will be a discussion on “The Origins of Cdo, Our History” (Compagnia delle Opere), promoting the exchange of experiences among participants.
Sunday, the final day, will be dedicated to a tour of the historic center of Albenga at 10 a.m., followed by a mass at 12 p.m. and a farewell lunch in Cisano. Daniela Ciccardi, national coordinator of Cdo Turismo, explains that “our goal is to create networks and strengthen a fundamental value, operational friendship.”
Cdo Turismo brings together industry operators such as hotels, B&Bs, travel agencies, and tour operators, restaurants, professionals, and consultants. The convention organizers emphasize that “our association aims to support entrepreneurs, managers, and professionals in facing the challenges of their work and developing their businesses and professional activities with a focus on the common good.” Participants are driven by the desire to tackle entrepreneurial, professional, socioeconomic, and cultural challenges in the sector collectively and with innovative tools.
