In Vado Ligure, the municipal administration has announced the commencement of design procedures for three significant projects: the revitalization of Parco dei Griffi, the major renovation of the Centro Anziani Marinella building, and the transformation of the square in front of Piazza Cialet in Porto Vado. These projects, part of the electoral programme, are set to begin.
Mayor Fabio Gilardi emphasized that these initiatives aim to “enhance the quality of life for residents and rejuvenate key areas of our community.” Parco dei Griffi will undergo a complete transformation, becoming a modern and welcoming place for all ages, featuring new play areas and revitalized green spaces.
The Marinella Senior Centre is set to undergo extensive maintenance impacting both its interior and exterior. The goal, as explained by the Municipality, is to “make the facility more efficient, safe, and comfortable,” enhancing the spaces dedicated to social activities for seniors.
Finally, the redevelopment of the square in front of Piazza Cialet in Porto Vado aims to bolster urban integration and landscape aesthetics, while also addressing water management issues to improve the area’s functionality and appearance. These projects are described by Gilardi as “a tangible step towards fulfilling the commitments made to the citizens.”
