In Savona, the Artist – Arts and Social Territorial Integration project kicks off with the Open Day on 17 December at EpiCentro. This initiative, financed by the Fondazione De Mari through the “Community Welfare 2024” grant, is led by the Progetto Città cooperative. The focus is on the artist, highlighting their expressive abilities and relational and emotional needs, aiming to actively engage them within the cultural fabric of the Savonese community.

To achieve these goals, the project draws on the expertise of various local organisations, including Semplicemente Danza, Eunike, Nuovofilmstudio, Cattivi Maestri, and Effetto Suono/RadioJasper. These entities work within the area to address the needs of the artists and their families.

The project provides artistic activities such as music, dance, theatre, cinema, and radio workshops. These activities are designed for young adults and adults with disabilities, selected by partner organizations or referred by other institutions, and will take place at partner locations. The aim is to establish a widespread service network within the area, ensuring close proximity to residents while encouraging community engagement.

The project will culminate in a final performance in the heart of the local community, in collaboration with the Fondazione De Mari, the Municipal Administration, and other social and cultural organizations, including the Museum of Ceramics and the Museum Network.
