Albenga launched its event “Albenga Lights Up wirh immensity 2024” with the lighting ceremony of the Christmas tree and architectural projections. This event drew a large crowd, both locals and visitors, offering an afternoon filled with cheer and festive magic.
One of the most anticipated moments was the animated tower, which featured a story for children. In this tale, Santa Claus becomes a diver to recover “lost presents,” exploring a Roman shipwreck and the Christ Redeemer.
In Piazza del Popolo, the aerial acrobatics show on a giant luminous moon captivated many spectators, culminating in a spectacular finale of fire magic. Performances by the Sizohamba Gospel Choir further enhanced the warm and engaging atmosphere.
The event attracted hundreds of attendees, marking the beginning of the Christmas season in Albenga. Festivities will continue at the Christmas Village in Piazza del Popolo, where each week will feature new attractions, local products, crafts, and solidarity initiatives.
