On Saturday, December 7, the PalaGarassini in Loano will host the 17th edition of the International Fight Show, a significant event in the world of combat sports. This event is organized by the Asd Team Perlungher and is supported by the Centro Sportivo Educativo Nazionale and the Department of Tourism, Culture, and Sport of the Municipality of Loano. Both Italian and international athletes will participate in the event.
Launched in 2004, the International Fight Show is regarded as the largest martial arts event in Liguria. Initiated by Giovanni Perlungher, a former world kickboxing champion, the event serves as a key gathering for enthusiasts in the field. Its mission is to promote values such as mental balance, discipline, adherence to rules, and physical fitness. The event also features entertainment with notable guests from the sports and entertainment industries, interviews, cheerleading performances, and street food.
The Loano Arena will once again host this eagerly anticipated event for combat sports enthusiasts. The matches will kick off in the morning with the children’s categories, followed by the Pre-Card at 5 PM, featuring athletes of various technical levels. Among the notable matches is a face-off between a French athlete and a Ligurian one: Alessandro Cizmic from Team Momo Genova.
The main event will begin at 8 PM, showcasing highly anticipated bouts such as the clash between Clement Nguyen and Noah Di Silvestro for the Tiger King belt. Other standout fights will feature athletes like Alessio Fiore, Demis Baris, and Noemi Melgar. Matteo Alberighi of Team Perlungher will take on Adam El Gharras in a muay thai match.
The IKC -75 kg world title will be contested between Dimitri Wolff and Giovanni Spanu. In the “Memorial Domenico ‘Mimmo’ Polizzano” tournament, various international athletes will compete in a knockout format.
